Tuition & Fees‍

Piano lessons run year-round. In order to make monthly payment straightforward and predictable, the tuition for lessons that fall during the school year has been added together and divided into ten equal (monthly) payments. A copy of the full Studio Policies will be available during the meet-and-greet.

Summer lessons are billed separately based on the number of weeks that take place during the summer. Typically, I teach for 7 or 8 of the summer weeks (out of 11), but I leave it undecided until mid-spring.

Summer lessons are strongly encouraged for continuity. My make-up policy is flexible, there are 3-4 'off weeks', and I do my best to accommodate students' travel plans. If you choose to take the summer off (or otherwise 'take a break' during the school year), you may pay a hold fee to retain your place. Students who do not hold their slots are not guaranteed a spot in the fall.

Payment

• The academic year tuition is based on 37 weeks from August 11, 2025 through May 22, 2026.
• Payment is due at the first lesson of the month and late after the 10th. There is a $25 late fee.
• Semester payments include a 5% discount. This has already been applied to the rates below.
• There is an $85 non-refundable, annual registration fee. This fee goes toward the cost of books and materials for the year and reserves your spot in my schedule. (Should the student progress faster than expected and additional books are needed down the road, those will be billed separately at that time.
• Optional events (e.g. competitions, festivals, recitals and exams) will be paid for by the student.
• Payment can be made by cash, check, Venmo or Cash App.
